You were, dear one, taken over by a railroading of `dead-end` thoughts. You weren`t feeling good and your feeling not good was fuelling your not feeling good. You were a puppy following its tail; not only is it exhausting, it is categorically inconclusive.
When you are in a tailspin like that, the only thing to do is to lie down in a heap and let goodness fill you up again, as you did. Call it in, let light and love fill your whole physical vessel. See it pour in through your crown chakra all the way down to the tips of your fingers and the tips of your toes. Fill your being with light. And keep filling it the way you would fill your body with water to quench your thirst. The thirst for the light, that you are, is as powerful as the thirst of a dehydrated body.
When your fortress of light is demeaned it is similar to your body succumbing to a virus. If your immunity is low then you are more susceptible to a virus. In order to keep your immunity high, you know that you need to eat well, sleep well and look after your physical vessel. It is exactly the same for your emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. They require attention in the form of meditation and thoughts of faith and love. You need to weed out the junk thoughts in the same way that you avoid junk food, and that means all form of criticism or ill-thinking of others or yourself. This is where a daily practice of forgiveness fortifies the love walls within. Imagine every day that you are constructing a body of love, health and vibrancy and then the negative thoughts will bounce off you rather than penetrate through the holes in the walls that you have left gaping open.
Fear and doubt will leave holes in your armour. To mend them, renew your faith in Divine Love through meditation, rejoicing, gratefulness and movement. Move through life gracefully, knowing that you are always cared for, cherished and loved. Do not lose hope even in the down times or low times. Just because the sea ebbs, does not mean it will not come back into the same shore again. Rejoice even more in your good fortune when you see no sign of it for it is simply like the ocean, retreating so that it may return with fresh waves upon the shore of your being. Do not doubt ever little one, you are loved, oh so loved, yes, every hair is counted, conditioned and adored. All is so deeply well.
