What is ‘The Treasure Is Within’ about?
From my early twenties, I had been asking for and receiving messages of love, reassurance and wisdom in written form from, what I was invited to call, my `Higher Office`. I had been asked to call them my Higher Office as a playful take on the word higher, encouraging me to `hire` their services whenever I so choose. I took them at their word and wrote to them whenever I needed guidance. The messages became so allegoric and transformational in nature that I decided to commit to receiving one message a day for a year. That year became four and the resulting communication is part of `The Treasure is Within`.
Six months after completing part one and, what I believed at the time would be `The Treasure is Within`, in its entirety, our youngest son was diagnosed with brain cancer. In the introduction I tell the story of how, because of our son`s diagnosis and subsequent treatment, I lost faith in myself, God and my Higher Office, only to rediscover this faith in a completely new way by coming to truly understand the messages I had received. Now, I know, this was the great journey from head to heart.
Part two of `The Treasure is Within` is the continuation, post-diagnosis, of this communication and teaching with my Higher Office.
I really wanted to publish `The Treasure is Within` because I wanted all of these teachings to sit by my bedside so that I could open them whenever I needed guidance. I still do this regularly and each time it is as if I am reading what is written completely anew, and it is always divinely perfect for the moment I am living. These teachings are also so multi-layered that with each reading comes new learning.
I am so deeply grateful to my Higher Office for all their guidance and love, especially at my darkest moments. One thing that was made crystal clear, however, was that each of us has this same team of help. They describe it as follows:
Behind each human being is this same community of hopes and desires spoken before your very existence. And so we are you and you are us, for we were birthed with the same intention of Spirit. And so, when you call on us, you open yourself to many levels of knowing that are perfectly attuned to the life that you desire to live for they are contained in the initial spoken intention that we all subscribed to. And so every answer that you search is contained within this portal to yourself, the community of `All That You Are`, and the desires and dreams that you have held and upheld for aeons of time.
We desire for you to know that our attention in your regard is never-ending and complete. We are literally at your every beck and call, urging you in the direction of your greatest desires. When there is resistance we find it difficult to be fully efficient but when you let go in trust that all is working out for the best then indeed it does.
My greatest desire is that `The Treasure is Within` serves as a constant reminder to all that read it, of the love that we truly are.
Believe in your ability to be in love; that is the key.
