Part 3: Just love being you.

Some things life has taught me:

– Although it may not always feel like it, life is absolutely and ultimately for you, not against you.

– Life can be tough but is very very beautiful and extremely precious. You cannot give up ever because there is too much to learn, too much to discover, too much to treasure and too much to enjoy.

– What can look and feel like punishment is a secret door to freedom. Surrender it all.

– The searing emotional pain becomes the compassion with which you live your life.

– When it looks like there is no solution, that is the time to look further. Trust that there is always an answer, that there will always be somebody to help, that your prayers are heard.

– It is okay to cry. It is important to rest and just as important to move; walk, run, anything to give you the sense that you are moving forward.

– Find someone who can listen so that you can hear yourself!

– Keep creating. Create beauty in your life, however you do it. Make your home and your life beautiful for you to be in.

– Be so very kind to yourself. The love that you are, is greater than anything that you could fear, experience or punish yourself for. Breathe it in. Rest back in its arms. Let it enfold you. You are loved and you are adored.

I am Jane-Louise, the author of `The Treasure is Within`. I am a linguist by training and, after more than a decade of travel and work in the corporate world, I trained as a yoga teacher, for special needs children in particular, setting up in 2004 my organisation Yogabuddies, teaching hundreds of children yoga and training over 50 yoga teachers to do the same. For the last nine years, my primary role has been as a carer for our youngest son as he recovers from brain cancer. Welcome.
